The OLFA Self Healing Rotary Cutting Mat is designed to provide a continually smooth cutting surface by resealing surface cuts, thus extending the life of your blade and protecting your cutting surface. It is constructed using a triple-layer heat welding process to increase its shelf-life, and it is double-sided to deliver accuracy and prolong the life of the mat. The solid side can be used for general cutting, while the grid line side can be utilized for precision cuts. This makes it perfect for small scale craft projects when a full size cutting mat is not needed. Please note that our cutting mat is intended for use with rotary cutters only and should not be used with fixed blade utility knives. To prevent warping, it should be stored flat and out of direct sunlight.
